Serikor began its activity with the screen printing for special materials: decals for ceramics and glasses, decoration on plastic materials. Over the time, Serikor developed the necessary technology to guarantee the highest printing precision, and a lasting adherence to any surface of every decoration: dry decals, peelable dry decals, window graphics , special decorations for composite materials, screen printing on offset printed supports for publishing finishes. Serikor offers an extremely wide range of special screen printing effects, as well.
Special printing
Since more than 50 years Serikor produces high quality fine decals for ceramic and glass, decals for plates, vases, glasses, chandeliers and lamps, tiles.
Even if the major brands of ceramic have disappeared from the Italian market, making this kind of production a sort of niche, Serikor continues today to produce fine decals even using precious materials such as gold and platinum.
COMPOSITE MATERIALS DECORATION
The composite materials decoration can be accomplished by printing on special plastic supports with appropriate inks, they are coupled with composite material during the hardening/forming phase. This technique ensures a high protection of graphics and allows to obtain many special effects, particularly with metallic inks.
Another technique for the decoration of composite materials can be realized using a particular kind of transfer applied to the support during the hardening/forming phase. With this process it may also be obtained a photographic decoration at high resolution and many metallic and color-changing effects.
Thanks to the high qualitative surface finishing of the transfer, matt or glossy, the final product doesn’t need any coating in addition.
